Monday, December 18, 2000
A delegation comprising 38 tourism entrepreneurs from Albania<.> last Thursday arrived in Balkan neighbour Greece for a week-long visit as part of efforts to develop bilateral cooperation in tourism.

The Hellenic Tourism Organisation (EOT) is conducting seminars for the visitors, whose country aims to develop its tourism sector. Hoteliers, travel agents and Albanian tourism authority staff are attending the seminars and are to visit archaeological sites.

EOT chairman Ioannis Stefanidis said such events allowed countries like Albania to acquaint themselves with EU norms and understand the importance of tourism.
