Planned modernisation works at Greece`s Parnitha casino<.> worth 2.5 billion drachmas are proceeding at a relatively fast pace.

More specifically:

The casino`s cablecar service has been upgraded and security improved.
The casino`s central hall now hosts a prive section with a new roulette wheel and black jack table.
200 new slot machines have been installed.
The entry has been equipped with an electronic system for registration of members and issuing of permits for entry.
A training programme involving young people interested in working in the field has begun.
During the Christmas holiday season the casino will introduce new operating hours, from 7pm to 4.30am Monday to Friday, and 4pm-4.30am on weekends and public holidays.
