FCm Travel Solutions expands in Perth

Flight Centre Limited Corporate Division`s newly launched business travel management brand FCm Travel Solutions is set to expand its operations in Western Australia with the opening of a new customer service office in Perth aimed at top-tier clients.
The move is the result of business expansion resulting from a major new client signing late last year and for the first time allows the company to offer personalized services to clients with travel spends in the large market segment (known as Travel Management Solutions, or TMS) of an average of $2 million plus per year.
Currently, FCm Travel Solutions offers business travel management services for small and medium operations in Perth. FCm Travel Solutions general manager for the large market category, Robert Dell, said the new office would result in an expansion of FCm Travel Solutions` service hours for all current customers through call switching. It will also form the basis of increased large market business development activities in the dynamic and growing WA market, he said.
The Perth office will be linked to the market-leading Lumina technology platform which is currently used by FCm Travel Solutions business for TMS customers. Commencement is scheduled for mid-February.
We had a very successful outcome in new business acquisition leading up to Christmas and it is clear that our customers with WA operations, while embracing new era technology through our online solutions, are wanting to have the benefit of personal servicing at a local level, Mr Dell said. Now that there is a single FCm Travel Solutions brand throughout Flight Centre Limited`s corporate travel businesses, expansion of this nature is very straightforward.
