Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels has been appointed to market for sale the 286-room Marriott Ventura Beach hotel. The property is available on a fee-simple basis, and has benefited from more than $10 million in renovations over the last four years. The hotel offers two food and beverage options, plus 20,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space.
The hotel benefits from its location one block from Ventura Beach and its proximity to the greater Los Angeles MSA. Given its highly desirable beach community setting, the property attracts a diverse mix of demand segments, including corporate transient, government, corporate meetings market, associations, SMERF, and weekend leisure transient, said Art Buser, managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in Los Angeles. Ventura County has quickly become one of Southern California`s economic powerhouses, and is home to a number of bio-tech firms like Amgen, which are developing a new generation of wealth in the Ventura area.
The recent renovations have transformed the property into a one-of-a-kind experience that fuses the coastal character and charm of the Ventura area with the seamless sophistication of a modern, first-class hotel, said John Strauss, a senior vice president with Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels.
