Minimum prices for camping<.>, rented rooms and apartments and furnished tourism homes for the year 2000 remain on the same level as prices of 1999, according to a recent decision signed by the Hellenic Tourism Organization`s secretary general, Evgenios Yiannakopoulos.
With this decision, lodging owners must charge no less than the minimum price stipulated by the tourism organization. Prices can be higher. The decision also allows owners to charge different prices for different rooms. For example, the price of a room on the top floor with a view can be up to 50% more than the price charged for a room on the main floor.
