NEW YORK – Leading hospitality impresario Ric Addison has announced the opening of two new Midtown venues that will join the Addison Hospitality Group (AHG) portfolio. Addison, who was instrumental in helping build the Dream Hotel brand, also leads the boutique AHG collection of rooftops and restaurants, which includes Monarch Rooftop & Indoor Lounge (71 West 35th Street). Both Magnolia Restaurant and Lovage Rooftop & Indoor Lounge are located at 350 West 40th Street and will simultaneously open on December 5, 2016.

Located on the ground floor and spanning over 6,000 square feet of interior and exterior space, Magnolia Restaurant is an American bistro complete with an expansive bar, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Designed by Natalia Todorova of Gene Kaufman Architects, Magnolia Restaurant boasts white brick, natural textiles, rich wood, and polished brass amid sleek camel brown leather, plum and soft cream linens, and basket weave fabrics. The dining area is elongated with an additional seasonal outdoor garden space. Elegant but comfortable, Magnolia Restaurant is a worthy addition to Addison Hospitality Group's repertoire of lounges and restaurants.

With an enclosed interior for New York's colder months, Lovage Rooftop & Indoor Lounge is poised to become a nightlife destination for locals and visitors alike. A sight to behold at 4,000 square feet with 17-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, a glass roof, and fireplace, the lounge is located on the 36th floor where patrons can enjoy specialty cocktails and light fare.

A custom laser-cut mercury mirror brick wall and chainmail columns complement the floors of walnut herringbone and polished cement. Chairs in stroke-painted velvet upholstery and Christian Lacroix fabrics adorn the interiors, while the sights outside feature 360-degree views, which display a vast array of iconic New York City landmarks, including the Empire State Building, Freedom Tower, Statue of Liberty, Times Square, the Hudson River, and more.  It is one of very few places in New York City to view all of these famous sites simultaneously.

"I am thrilled to introduce Magnolia Restaurant and Lovage Rooftop & Indoor Lounge," stated Ric Addison, President of Addison Hospitality Group. "I am confident these two new destinations will follow in the tradition of Addison Hospitality Group's existing venues; they will offer superior service in a spectacular atmosphere that has distinguished our collection of nightspots from others. We look forward to providing a memorable and enjoyable experience to our guests."

Addison Hospitality Group welcomes Executive Chef Brian Pancir, who will curate the menu for both venues and oversee dining operations. Voted Best Chef of the Hamptons, his background spans from Jean-Georges Restaurants, Estiatorio Milos, and Legends Hospitality Management for the New York Yankees. Additionally, AHG is proud to announce its partnership with The Cocktail Architect, which will design the bar and cocktail program at Magnolia Restaurant and Lovage Rooftop & Indoor Lounge.

Addison's background spans 15 years of Manhattan nightlife with such recognizable and memorable venues such as Ava Rooftop Lounge at Dream Hotel, Inc Lounge at Time Hotel, and The Bar at Dream Hotel.
