All roads pass through Rimini the first advance news on TTG Incontri, the largest tourism marketplace in Italy

At Rimini Fiera from 13th to 15th October 2016, along with the SIA Guest Hospitality Exhibition and SUN Exhibition for the Outdoor world, Camping and Beach Establishments.

RIMINI – New exhibitors, new destinations, new networking and business opportunities. In an increasingly digital era, the value of personal contacts has a preponderant comeback. The next edition of TTG Incontri, the largest tourism marketplace in Italy and one of the most important trade fairs in Europe, will be held under the banner of High Touch.

In fact, tourism needs meetings. More then ever before: the international scenario is changing, as are companies, consumers and roles. In this context, the sector’s trade members have an increasing need to meet and establish real solid relationships with their market and with all the players of the trade chain and TTG Incontri, which is a barometer of the tourist trade in Italy, considerably highlights this trend, reporting an increase in new exhibitors and international trade members interested in meeting the sector’s professionals taking part in the expo.  They are above all destinations, airlines, hotel chains and IT companies.

Some advance news follows: there will be the debut of the India Pavilion, an entire hall dedicated to the Asian destination and, among the new destinations, there will be Georgia. It will be the first participation for Germany’s Hahn Air, the world’s large largest distribution service and ticketing company, trading on 190 markets, with 300 air, rail and shuttle partners and 95,000 travel agencies; Oracle is growing and newcomers to the expo will include the big names in e-commerce and e-payment. After years of absence, Indonesia once more believes in the Italian market and there is a large increase in the exhibit space taken by Japan and Scandinavia.

However, the area for which the largest increase is foreseen in terms of products offered, is Italy, where over 1,000 international buyers from 85 Countries are awaited, to buy Italian tourist products and sell them all over the world.

As far as contents are concerned, 9 arenas will run simultaneously at the expo to establish relationships and encourage networking between trade members.

In the three TTG NEXT arenas, dedicated to innovation, technology and start-ups, trade members will network on issues regarding the Web, social and mobile marketing. There will be discussions on e-commerce for tourism and digital payment.

The TTG FORUM arena will host the presentation of new scenarios and international statistics. There will be a focus on new targets, and coverage of topics such as vacations’ memorability and the evolution of business travel.

The TTG TRAVEL AGENTS’ ARENA will be dedicated to travel agencies, with sessions dedicated to retail trends. Topics covered will include, points of sale and their communicative functions, new clients’ identikits, updating of the issues of tourism medicine and the support of psychology in communication and sales strategies.

New features for 2016 include three new initiatives regarding the blogosphere and social media. They are:

“My Personal Blogger”, the possibility of exhibitors to take advantage of having a “personal” blogger, who will have the task of ensuring the highest possible profile for new products presented at the expo by companies; “Meet Your Specialist”, individual consultation for exhibitors and visitors on the topics of the Web, social and mobile marketing; “Speed Date”, meetings between bloggers and exhibitors for the promotion of tourism products.

As well as the 53rd TTG INCONTRI, Rimini Fiera will also host the 65th SIA GUEST International Hospitality Exhibition, and the 34th SUN International Exhibition for the Outdoor world.
