New direct connection from Frankfurt to Shenzhen

Starting in May, Air China operates new route three times a week from FRA to China

On May 21st Air China launched the first direct flight from Frankfurt to Shenzhen. With an Airbus A330 the route will be served three times a week. Thereby, Air China offers the fourth nonstop connection from Frankfurt to China and the only direct service to Shenzhen in Germany.

The new connection is especially attractive for business travelers. Due to its status as a special economic zone, the city is very well known for the electrical- and telecommunication industry based there, attracting many foreign investors. Located in the South Chinese Pearl River Delta, Shenzhen borders to the north of Hong Kong and it is considered as one of the fastest growing cities in the world.

As China’s national airline and a Star Alliance member, Air China operates a flight network of 6000 flights per week from its home airport in Beijing. Flights can be purchased at common travel platforms online, travel agencies or directly on airchina.com. The Air China counters can be found in terminal 1, area B, on the second floor, number 517 – 524.
