Poken, the 360° event platform, announces the appointment of industry veteran Ron Speechley to the newly created role of Sales Director for the company’s US business. Ron will be based in New York and will lead Poken’S US sales team.
Ron has extensive sales and sales management experience having led sales teams at Kantar Media SRDS, a media search engine, for over 20 years. He has built many relationships with B2B publishers in the US that will aid in both marketing relationships and new business development.
Speaking of his new role Ron says: “I learnt of Poken several years ago after reading an article in an in-flight magazine, I kept my eye on the company and hoped to one day play a role in helping it grow its footprint in the US event marketplace.
“I am excited to be part of the team and I can see lots of opportunity in the event tech space. With the proper focus we will make Poken a household name among event organisers.”
