Second annual Latin America Meeting and Incentive Travel Exchange event sells out in Colombia

The event officially opened Wednesday morning with a presentation by Cherryl Brazier, director of global sales for Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, and then continued throughout the day with pre-scheduled, one-to-one appointments between buyers and suppliers, each held in individual hotel rooms.

NEW YORK – Questex Travel Group kicked off its second annual Latin America Meeting and Incentive Travel Exchange (LAMITE) to record sales numbers in Cartagena, Colombia at the InterContinental Cartagena de Indias

The first and only event of its kind, LAMITE, held in partnership with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), and the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE), brings together top-producing, Latin America-based meeting planners and incentive buyers with leading global suppliers for two and a half days of exclusive networking opportunities and prescheduled one-to-one meetings in private, deluxe hotel rooms. 

Guests were welcomed Tuesday evening with a networking reception sponsored by ProColombia and the Cartagena de Indias Convention Bureau at the stunning Casa 1537, complete with authentic Colombian music, dancing, and vibrant costumes.
