LONDON – Select Registry – a collection of independent, boutique lodging properties – announced from the Independent Hotel Show that Cedar Manor Hotel & Restaurant in Northwest England is its first European property since the mid-1990s.
The award-winning, luxury hotel represents the start of Select Registry's expansion into the UK and Ireland, which will be led by Stephen Tallon, Managing Director, InnConsultancy Ltd.

Select Registry's North American properties stretch from Nova Scotia in Canada to Napa Valley, California; the Pacific Northwest of the United States to Key West. These upscale properties range from classic B&Bs and full-service inns to stately mansions and manors, rustic lodges and ranches, boutique hotels, historic castles and luxury cabins. All of them must pass rigorous quality inspections to gain and maintain use of the Select Registry name.
Built in 1854, Cedar Manor Hotel & Restaurant is set in mature gardens. It's secluded and peaceful, despite being within short walking distance of the lakeshore and Windermere town centre. The hotel has 10 luxury rooms and suites, all individually designed by an award-winning Windermere interior designer. Its restaurant serves locally sourced, seasonal food prepared by skilled chefs.
InnConsultancy is a leading consultancy practice specializing in providing comprehensive support services for some of the most prestigious hospitality properties. Originally from Ireland, Tallon has more than 25 years in the travel and hospitality industry, having earned a great reputation as one of the leading hospitality inspectors in the U.S.A. He appeared on 'Hotel Hell' as an inspector for Gordon Ramsay's popular television show.
