TENERIFE – Families looking for a short-haul beach retreat with an impeccable balance of glamour and child-friendly facilities, should look no further than The Ritz-Carlton, Abama this Summer. The bastion of chic on the Canary Island of Tenerife adds to its collection of luxury accommodation with the launch of eight brand new family suites. Welcoming family travellers in time for the holiday season, the two bedroom suites will allow family groups of up to nine to stay together in ultimate luxury while enjoying a decadent menu of amenities.

Positioned within the resort’s impressive Citadel building, flanked by Moorish design, the Family Suites will feature vast walkthrough living spaces with generous sitting rooms and dining areas, king-sized master bedrooms and balconies overlooking the resort’s lush botanical gardens. For larger families an additional twin room can be connected.

Bespoke touches will provide children’s bath amenities, bathrobes, mini slippers and a creative children’s minibar. For older children; two televisions, PlayStation 4 and games will entertain at the end of a long balmy day! Essential items are also on tap for babies and tots including; sterilizers, changing mats, baby baths, high chairs and bottle warmers.

The Ritz-Carlton, Abama, has Summer holiday life sewn up, from food, fun and learning, working out and spa, to unadulterated relaxation. As we all know the  way to our loved ones hearts, Abama’s world-renowned gastronomic choice and excellence won’t disappoint. Families can savour a choice of; haute cuisine at the resort’s two Michelin-starred restaurants; Martin Berastegui’s M.B. and the Japanese fusion outpost of Kabuki, fresh seafood at The Beach Club, traditional tapas at the resort’s Tapas & Wine Bar, succulent steaks at Pampa Grill and elegant Italian flavours at Verona.
