Airports Council International-North America appoints Paradies Lagardere’s Patrick Wallace to Board of Directors

Throughout his 35-year career with Paradies Lagardere, Patrick Wallace has held leadership positions in some of the country’s largest airports, including Atlanta, Chicago and Detroit.

ATLANTA – Paradies Lagardere, the travel retail and restaurateur leader in North America, announced that Patrick Wallace, vice president, Business Development, has been appointed to the Airports Council International-North America’s (ACI-NA) World Business Partners/Associates Board of Directors. He will serve on the board for a term of three years.

ACI-NA is the voice of North American airports, representing local, regional and state governing bodies that own and operate commercial airports in the United States and Canada. ACI-NA is the largest of the five worldwide regions of the Airports Council International. Members represent more than 300 airports operating in the U.S. and Canada, and nearly 400 aviation-related businesses.

“As a result of Pat’s hard work and dedication to our business development team, Paradies Lagardere continues to successfully grow its travel retail and restaurant business in airports throughout North America,” said Gerry Savaria, executive vice president, Paradies Lagardere. “We’re excited about Pat’s new role with ACI-NA and we’re confident he’ll serve our industry well.”

As Vice President, Business Development for Paradies Lagardere, Pat is responsible for generating new retail and restaurant business growth in airports throughout North America, as well as working with the company’s Marketing, Merchandising and Finance divisions, and ACDBE partners, to create compelling responses to airport proposals. He has contributed significantly to the continued growth and success of Paradies Lagardere over the past several years, helping the company to reach $900 million in sales in 2018.

Throughout his 35-year career with Paradies Lagardere, Pat has held leadership positions in some of the country’s largest airports, including Atlanta, Chicago and Detroit. He began his retail career as a merchandise manager with the J.C. Penney Company, and joined Paradies Lagardere in 1983.
