Avoya Travel achieves record 2018 sales and network growth

Avoya poised for continued 2019 growth with more customers and growing travel network.

FT. LAUDERDALE, FLA. – Avoya Travel celebrates 2018 as the best year in company history with a double-digit sales increase and unprecedented Avoya Travel Network growth. The record sales continue into 2019 as Avoya further invests in its 2025 strategic plan. The Avoya 2025 plan includes new and innovative programs that power the Avoya vacation platform’s unique ability to reach and connect more travelers with Independent Agencies to create more bookings and even better vacation experiences.

Through enhanced marketing strategies in 2018 Avoya successfully generated over 25 percent more Live Leads for the Avoya Network than ever before. Live Leads are new and existing customers ready to book a vacation and are distributed by patented technology exclusively to members in the Avoya Network.

Record 2018 sales were driven by Avoya’s focus on improving the customer vacation planning experience. The Avoya Network reached its highest client retention rates to-date in 2018, confirming that Avoya’s patented Live Lead system continues to improve the vacation planning experience by matching the right customer with the right Independent Agency on the right product. This results in more bookings, income and success for member agencies in the Avoya Network.

The Avoya Network continued to grow rapidly in 2018 with an almost 25 percent year-over-year increase in new members. Many Independent Agencies that joined in 2018 were started by entrepreneurs who participated in Avoya’s first-of-its-kind, award-winning new-to-travel education and affiliation program. With this program, Avoya continues its industry leadership position in proactively bringing new professional Independent Agency owners into the travel industry and generating new bookings for Avoya’s supplier partners.

Avoya Network growth has been matched by the increase in Live Leads. A record number of Independent Agencies achieved $1 million or more in annual sales, with the top producing agency growing sales over 30 percent to reach a remarkable $6.5 million. Very significant sales are coming from new-to-travel Independent Agencies, which on average experience faster and higher levels of success than their peers at other leading host agencies and franchises.

“Avoya Travel’s record year with customer and Network growth is proof that we’re on track with Avoya 2025, the aggressive seven-year growth plan that we launched in 2018, and that we’re on pace to become the number one vacation platform that creates more success for our valued supplier partners, the Independent Agencies and travelers,” said Jeff Anderson, Executive Vice President of Avoya Travel.

Avoya launched several new initiatives in 2018 that contributed to the company’s record success and advanced the Avoya 2025 plan. The award-winning Avoya Agency Dashboard and the first-of-its-kind education partnership with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) were among some of the new support resources Avoya made available to help increase Network member sales success. Avoya also expanded its resort vacation portfolio with new partnerships, generating new customer bases for Independent Agencies and providing more vacation options to travelers.

This year Avoya will make even bigger investments in its brand, its employees, the Avoya Network, technology and marketing to create more Shared Success and powerful travel planning experiences as the number one vacation platform.
