Cayman Airways announces additional, non-stop routes to the Cayman Islands

Cayman Airways, the national flag carrier of the Cayman Islands, has announced new non-stop service from Washington, DC and the re-introduction of non-stop service from Chicago to Grand Cayman to commence this December. These gateways join the already existing non-stop service with Cayman Airways from New York’s JFK Airport, Miami, and Tampa. With the addition of the Washington, DC and Chicago routes, the Cayman Islands is even more easily accessible from the US, showcasing Cayman Airways’ commitment to the US market and addressing the needs of the tourism industry.

From Washington, DC beginning December 13, Cayman Airways will operate twice weekly service to Grand Cayman on Wednesdays and Saturdays, returning on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The service from Chicago runs Wednesdays and Sundays beginning December 17. On the 122-seat Boeing 737-300, passengers can take pleasure in Cayman Airways’ quality service. For the discerning traveler, an 8-seat business class service is also available.

This winter, Cayman Airways will again operate an expanded schedule with four weekly flights to Grand Cayman from John F. Kennedy International Airport. Flights depart New York’s JFK Airport at 8:30 am on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and depart Grand Cayman on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 5:00 pm. Additional dates are also available during peak winter holiday times and can be found online at http://www.caymanairways.com/.

As the National Flag Carrier of the Cayman Islands, Cayman Airways’ schedule includes non-stop Boeing 737 jet service to the following US gateways – New York, Miami, and Tampa. There is also jet service to Cayman Brac, and Kingston and Montego Bay, Jamaica. Cayman Airways also operates frequent, daily, turbo-prop services via Cayman Airways Express between the three Cayman Islands, Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman.
