Corsair International opens a daily New York/JFK to Paris as of June 10, 2020

Corsair will operate a fleet of 10 aircraft, including 5 Airbus A330-900 NEO, as of May 2021.

PARIS – As part of its development strategy in North America, Corsair will be opening its New York–Paris service on June 10, 2020. This network expansion goes hand in hand with the renewal of its fleet, which will increase the number of Business and Premium class seats, thus meeting the expectations of Business passengers in particular.

Corsair International is a scheduled French airline specializing in international long-haul. The airline transports 1,200,000 passengers per year.

In addition to its existing connections between Paris and the Caribbean (Guadeloupe and Martinique), the Indian Ocean (Reunion, Mauritius) and Africa (Ivory Coast), Corsair International is also developing routes to North America. It already operates connections between Montreal–Paris and Miami–Paris, and will be opening its New York–Paris service on June 10, 2020.

Flight times matching customer needs
In its quest to improve its customer experience, Corsair has been working in close collaboration with New York airports to examine all possible improvements to the schedule initially announced. Corsair has thus been able to confirm excellent time slots at JFK Airport, Terminal 1.

Corsair serves the airport Paris Orly, south of Paris. The airport is 10 miles closer to downtown Paris than Charles-de-Gaulle airport, more convenient for passengers and easily accessible with public transport and taxi.

Departure from JFK – Terminal 1 8:00 pm, arrival 9:30 am at Paris Orly
Departure from Paris Orly 3:20 pm, arrival 6:00 pm at JFK – Terminal 1

The 8:00 pm departure from New York allows for a full day of meetings before catching the flight back to Paris, while the 9:30 am arrival at Orly also makes it possible to reach the center of Paris quickly for morning meetings.
These schedules also allow efficient connections to Corsair destinations (Reunion Island, Mauritius and Abidjan), to our partners' destinations in France and other European countries (easyJet and Vueling) and with TGVAir, the French high speed train network to 18 cities throughout France.

The opening of the New York- Paris service comes as part of the plan to renew the fleet and expand the network

Corsair will operate a fleet of 10 aircraft, including 5 Airbus A330-900 NEO, as of May 2021. The cabin configuration on these new aircraft has been designed to target the Business segment thanks to an increase in the number of seats in its top-end classes, with 20 seats Business class and 21 in Premium.

Pascal de Izaguirre, Chairman & CEO, stated: “The location of JFK Airport as well as the fantastic time slots will help us meet the needs of all our customers, whether traveling for business or for leisure. As of September 2020, Corsair will be operating daily flights between New York and Paris with an Airbus A330-900 NEO. It will thus be the only alternative to the major airlines, with three seat classes at very competitive prices”.
