Duetto accelerates expansion throughout Europe

Now with more than 500 gotels in Europe, Duetto adds 40+ new properties, 7,500 rooms in seven countries.

LONDON – Duetto, the market leader in hotel and casino profit optimization technology, announced that it added more than 40 hotels and 7,500 rooms in Europe in just two months. Duetto now has more than 500 hotel partners in Europe, including iconic individual hotels, regional brands and some of the biggest hotel companies on the continent. Duetto also appointed Justin Sadler-Smith as Vice President of Sales for the EMEA region and Gary Torres as Director of Deployment, and has more than doubled the size of the company's London EMEA headquarters in less than a year. Duetto's new London office is located at 2-6 Boundary Row, near one of London's most vibrant technology corridors.   

Hotel partners added in recent weeks include:

  • Europe Hotels Private Collection – Eight hotels in The Netherlands and Germany
  • Les Emeraudes – Eight Hotels throughout France
  • Victor's Residenz – Thirteen hotels throughout Germany
  • Palladium Hotels & Resorts – Five Hotels in Spain
  • Brochner Hotels – Three Hotels in Copenhagen
  • M by Montcalm – Five-Star Hotel in London
  • Hotel Marignan – Five-Star Hotel in Paris

Growing the Team
To help manage and spur the continued expansion, Duetto added Justin Sadler-Smith as Vice President of Sales for EMEA. Smith brings more than twenty years experience as a sales leader in the software industry, with a strong track record developing and managing successful sales teams. 

Sadler-Smith said, "I am excited to join Duetto at this incredibly dynamic moment in the company's growth, throughout the EMEA region. Sadler-Smith joins Duetto from IBM, where he was Worldwide Sales Leader for Procurement Solutions. He was with IBM for more than a decade, in progressively advancing sales roles. He also served as a senior level sales executive at other technology companies, throughout his career helping Fortune 500 companies achieve both revenue growth and significant cost reductions through the use of innovative technology. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies from the University of Hertfordshire.

Sadler-Smith is joined at Duetto by Gary Torres, appointed to the newly created position of Director of Deployment for EMEA.

Torres brings more than fifteen years of senior managerial experience in travel technology at companies in Europe. Most recently, serving as VP of Global Implementations at DHISCO Inc., he led their professional services and client-consulting unit, spearheading the rollout of numerous process improvements in the delivery of hospitality solutions and data intelligence to hotels. Torres also held managerial roles at Pegasus Solutions where he was instrumental in facilitating the distribution of European hotel inventory to the diverse electronic travel network in the region.

Sadler-Smith and Torres are based in the Duetto EMEA headquarters office in London.
