EXETER – Hay Creek Hotels announced today that it has been selected to oversee the total renovation The Redmont Hotel, an historic 114 room full service hotel located in Birmingham, Alabama. Hay Creek Hotels will also manage the property when renovations have are complete in early 2014.

To further enhance the overall guest experience at the property, Hay Creek Hotels will oversee a complete renovation and repositioning of the hotel, commencing in the fall of 2013. Once renovated, the hotel will re-open in the spring of 2014 with 116 newly designed guest rooms and suites, a signature restaurant, enhanced meeting facilities, a rooftop lounge/bar, and a grand ballroom. Upon completion, The Redmont Hotel will be positioned as the preeminent upscale boutique hotel in the Birmingham marketplace.
The addition of The Redmont Hotel marks the continuation of Hay Creek Hotels’ further expansion into the Southeast, joining existing properties in Charleston, SC and Charlottesville, VA. Though largely known for its success in New England and the Mid-Atlantic, Hay Creek Hotels is now moving to add targeted properties in the Southeast region through third-party management assignments, joint ventures, and acquisitions.
