The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) and hyphen Information Systems Management are teaming up to conduct a comprehensive survey analysis of the state of technology in Canada`s hotel industry. Statistical data is being compiled via a series of questionnaires distributed throughout the country, the complete survey can also be completed by Hotel Industry owners/operators online at www.hyphenism.com/hacsurvey/ no later than February 3, 2004.
A unique focus on Canadian businesses combined with a public distribution of results from the survey will greatly assist hotel industry professionals in their technology strategic planning. The survey will address a number of topics including: Attitudes towards technology; Application and software complement; Resources; Budgeting; Electronic Distribution; and the unique challenges in the Canadian marketplace.
Today`s hotels count on technology to navigate the myriad of challenges that confront our industry on a day to day basis, says Hotel Association President Tony Pollard. The Hotel Association of Canada`s (HAC) Strategic Partnership with hyphen is key to this success. Results of the survey will be made public during hyphen`s two technology forums Electrifying your Electronic Distribution and Technology Power Panel both being presented Monday, February 9th 1pm – 3:30pm as part of the Hotel Association of Canada`s 12th Annual Conference & Trade Show taking place at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto on February 9 and 10, 2004.
