HTI Consulting wins Top Services Group of the Year at 2020 API Awards

Cape Town.

HTI Consulting received an API Award for Top Services Group of the Year, from the API (African Property Investments) Virtual Summit that took place recently.

The API Awards, established to recognise and promote excellence in Africa’s rising real estate sector, are a critical benchmark for measuring success in the industry. The awards provide peer recognition for the world-class work and services being undertaken by those developers, professional teams, consultants, suppliers and property owners who shape the African built environment landscape.

“This year’s API Awards took place virtually and were adapted to not only recognise special achievements, but also to celebrate individuals and companies who went above and beyond to support their clients and customers in an extremely challenging environment. Given the negative impact the pandemic had on the hospitality sector, It was especially inspiring to see HTI Consulting awarded Top Property Services Group, and goes to show the extraordinary efforts Wayne and his team, have undertaken to provide invaluable support and service to their industry,” said Kfir Russin, MD of API Events.

Wayne Troughton, CEO of HTI Consulting, commenting on this achievement said, “Winning the Top Services Group of the Year Award is tremendously important to us and we’re honoured to accept it,” he said. “We are committed to furthering API’s aim to push the boundaries of excellence in African property development and will continue to leverage management best practices and years of knowledge and expertise to support our clients and respond to the needs of the continent.”

As such we’ll ensure we continue to assist in championing the improvement of development standards and global best practices in the African hotel and real estate,” said Troughton.

In the last 2 years HTI Consulting has advised owners on the signing of 17 management contracts with large hotel operators including, Marriott, Hilton, Radisson, Hyatt, Minor Hotels, Accor, Best Western, Sarovar and more.
