The Iberia<.> company has accepted the pact dictated by arbitrator Federico Duran to end the conflict with the SEPLA pilots unit over a new contract.

The pact ensures labor peace for the next four years, which is excellent news not only for the company and its employees, but also for its customers.

The pact resolves all the issues in contention by the company and SEPLA, including pay rises and Clave 104. It also sets up a commission for resolving conflicts. The commission will be made up by two representatives of the company, two of the union, and a fifth named by both or by the arbitrator, in the event that the two parties cannot agree. It will resolve all conflicts arising over the application or interpretation of the collective bargaining agreement. This will ensure a long period of social peace, so necessary and so beneficial to all.

Iberia thanks Federico Duran for his efforts in studying and resolving the aspects of the agreement that Iberia and Sepla had not been able to agree upon, and for fairness of his resolution.
