Pleasing guests’ palates at WAYAM is signature restaurant Cuna, a gastronomic concept created and helmed by Chef Maycoll Calderon, known for his award-winning restaurants and bar in Mexico City. Named after the Spanish word for ‘cradle,’ Cuna is an open-kitchen format highlighting honest, homegrown ingredients cooked in a gentle and protective way. One of Cuna’s highlights is its craft mixology. The restaurant hosts a monthly dinner series “Cena entre Amigos” (Dinner Among Friends), in which Chef Calderon invites guest chefs from across Mexico and the world to cook together, creating an amazing gastronomic experience. In the courtyard, Cuna Cafe serves locally brewed coffee, grab-and-go options and light cocktails. By the rooftop pool, open-air Marinera Pool Bar offers stunning city views, craft mixology rooted in local flavors, and artisanal beers. From their room, WAYAM guests can quench their thirst with a specialized water menu of five carefully selected Mexican brands.
WAYAM Mundo Imperial is located steps away from Mérida’s historic downtown & attractions including Paseo Montejo, and 20 minutes from the Mérida International Airport.
