NexGen Hotels acquires a SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Waukegan, Illinois

WAUKEGAN, IL – NexGen Hotels, a hotel development and management company based in Itasca, Illinois, announced the acquisition of the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chicago Waukegan/Gurnee. Located at 4101 Fountain Square Place, the 120-suite hotel offers guests convenient access to Naval Station Great Lakes, Six Flags Great America & Hurricane Harbor, Gurnee Mills Mall, Waukegan Municipal Beach and numerous shopping, dining and entertainment options.

“Acquiring the SpringHill Suites by Marriott strategically aligns our company’s growth in the Waukegan area,” says Chris Patel, President, NexGen Hotels. “Having an existing presence in the market with our TownePlace Suites by Marriott Chicago Waukegan/Gurnee, will help us collaborate between the hotels, and enhance our partnerships with other area businesses.”

Each suite also features a microwave, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, complimentary, Wi-Fi, a flat-screen television, and the designated work space offers a well-lit desk for maximum productivity.

Amenities at the all-suite hotel include an indoor swimming pool, a well-equipped fitness center, a complimentary breakfast, a 24-hour Market offering snacks and sundries, and a boardroom that is ideal for small groups or business gatherings for up to 20 people.
