Lifestyle themed hotel brand opens in trendy New District of premier shopping dining & entertainment destination that draws 30 million visitors annually.
NEW YORK, NY – Olshan Properties, one of the country’s leading private owners, developers and operators of commercial real estate, together with Easton’s master developer The Georgetown Company, announces the opening of a new, 136-key, Aloft Hotel located at the gateway to the vibrant New District of the Easton Town Center in Columbus, OH. The new Aloft hotel is Olshan’s fourth such property at Easton and now becomes part of Olshan’s expansive national hotel portfolio.
A Marriott-flagged, upscale business boutique hotel, the Aloft brand is recognized for its distinctive modern style that utilizes technology and design to enhance the guest experience. With a focus on local music, food and beverage, the hotel combines luxury with affordability creating a uniquely expressive and social atmosphere. The first Aloft hotel opened in 2008, and the hotel chain has since expanded throughout the United States with 140 locations worldwide as of winter 2021.
The new hotel, which features world-class amenities, will be the fourth to open at Easton in recent years. Easton is one of the country’s premier shopping, dining and entertainment destinations, drawing more than 30 million annual visitors. As a true live, work, play community, Easton features more than 300 best-in-class retailers, Columbus’s most exciting dining options, Class A office space and luxury residential units.

Drawing on music as an inspiration, the hotel boasts an urban style that blends art, technology, and design. The new hotel will feature a 7,500 square-foot restaurant concept, as well as a locally commissioned mural on the roof. Other amenities include oversized windows in every room featuring spacious views of the New District as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center, swimming pool, and designated event and meeting space.
With a longstanding presence in the area, Olshan continues its steadfast dedication to the Columbus market: the company also owns and manages The Hilton Columbus at Easton, The Courtyard Columbus at Easton, and The Residence Inn at Columbus at Easton.
