Report – Frankfurt – IMEX 2009: Ovation Global DMC, the world’s leading destination management company, continues its global expansion with the opening of new offices in Hong Kong, Holland and Denmark. The announcement was made by Ovation Managing Directors, Patrick Delaney and Padraic Gilligan during the meeting and events show IMEX Frankfurt.
Already established in Benelux and Scandinavia with offices in Belgium and Sweden, Ovation is developing its presence in both regions by expanding into Holland and Denmark. The new Ovation office in Hong Kong will serve Hong Kong and Macau.
“Hong Kong has traditionally been a MICE hub in the Asia Pacific region while the MICE sector in neighbouring Macau has gathered momentum in recent years”, commented Michael Chiay, Director of Ovation Hong Kong – Macau. “With world-class infrastructure, a sophisticated services sector and the untiring support of the convention bureaus of Hong Kong (MEHK) and Macau (MBTC), we are delighted to introduce Ovation’s award winning services to our ‘twin’ cities”.
