LONDON – Serviced Apartment News, the b2b news resource for the serviced apartment, aparthotel and extended stay sectors, is delighted to announce it is launching the Serviced Apartment News Awards.

The inaugural awards will take place at a ceremony at a 5 star location in London, in March 2016.

The awards will be judged by a panel of industry experts – with all shortlisted developments being visited by judges. One category – the Industry Inspiration award, for the individual who has done the most to inspire the sector – will be voted for by Serviced Apartment News readers.

Entries for the awards are free of charge and can be submitted from November 2015 onwards.

Andrew Fowler, director of Urban Villa, said: “It’s super news that the inaugural Serviced Apartment News Awards’ will be a standalone event. Putting the spotlight on the individuals and businesses, and rewarding best in class achievements, will help drive the serviced apartment, aparthotel and extended stay sectors’ quality standards and awareness. That’s great news for all of us.”

This gives the sector more recognition within the wider hospitality industry and collectively drives us forward. Serviced Apartment News should have done it sooner!”
