Leading hotel management system purchases Addipos to expand offering.
GERMANY – SIHOT, one of the world’s leading modular hotel management systems with over 3,500 installations, has acquired ADDIPOS to expand its hardware portfolio in the hospitality market.
The Germany-based property management system (PMS) has collaborated with ADDIPOS for a number of years – working in conjunction to deliver POS hardware and software to the region. With the purchase, SIHOT’s parent company GUBSE will take over control of the company founded in 2004.
ADDIPOS employees across all its German offices in Saarbrücken, Berlin and in its network of 17 countries will not be affected. The founders of ADDIPOS, Kai Grobusch and Peter Schmelzer, will also remain with the business for the foreseeable future
The acquisition enables SIHOT to expand its offering with POS hardware to complement its Cloud SaaS system. ADDIPOS, based in Saarbrucken, is one of Germany’s leading providers of integrative POS systems within catering, hotels and bakeries with over 1138 installations.
