Uniline companions with G2 Sport

Thanks to the cooperation with G2 Sport Division, the sports infrastructure of Croatia is becoming available to athletes from more than 32 countries in which the global agency operates.

PULA – Uniline, a leading destination travel company in Croatia and the region of Southeast Europe, becomes a partner of G2 Sport, a special division of the leading wholesale tour operator G2 Travel, for the development of projects in the field of sports tourism in Croatia and the region. Sports tourism is one of the fastest recovering branches of tourism from the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, which enabled the expansion of the G2 Sport partner network. Uniline sees the cooperation with G2 Sport as an additional impulse to the development of sports tourism in Croatia, especially the project jointly developed by Uniline, the Croatian Olympic Committee and the Croatian National Tourist Board called "Croatia – the country of sports". This project aims to attract athletes from around the world to organize their sports preparations and competitions in Croatia and thus positioning Croatia on the map of sports destinations.

Uniline has been a leader in sports tourism in Croatia for more than ten years. The organization of sports camps, support in the organization of various sports competitions, organization of travel and accommodation of athletes and accompanying teams are just some of the services that Uniline provides to numerous sports clubs and federations as well as to the Croatian Olympic Committee. Thanks to the cooperation with G2 Sport, the sports infrastructure of Croatia is becoming available to athletes from more than 32 countries in the world in which this global agency operates.

"At Uniline, we have a lot of experience in the sports tourism segment, which is why G2 Sport has recognized us as a partner. We believe that Croatia has the potential to develop this segment of the tourist offer that can significantly extend the season in destinations that invest in sports infrastructure. One sports camp or competition can fill the accommodation capacity of the destination, which is especially valuable in the pre- and post-season periods. Given global trends, we see that investing in sports tourism pays off in the long run, and I am convinced that with a new global partner we will be in an even better position in attracting athletes around the world to Croatia," said Kristian Šustar, CDO of Uniline.

G2 Travel is a global tour operator company with offices and representatives in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Thanks to a high standard of service and investment in technology and employees, G2 is today a leading travel company that realizes over 1.5 million hotel nights a year.

"We are extremely satisfied with the signed multi-year strategic agreement with Uniline in the field of sports and sports activities. The agreed strategic cooperation in the segment of sports and sports activities will certainly result in a quality increase in sports programs and new sports projects in Croatia, and will positively affect the even faster recovery of sports tourism in Croatia in the future, especially in the post-Covid period. The project "Croatia – the country of sports" will be directly promoted to many G2 Travel Clients in various markets globally" said Krešimir Koletić, Regional Manager of G2 Travel and Head of the Sports Division. By signing a strategic agreement and joint participation in the project "Croatia – the country of sports", G2 Sport – G2 Travel's specialized sports division will provide high quality support to Uniline in organizing all ground services for sporting events and travel in Europe or globally, regardless of the destination of the sporting event or other sports activities of Uniline sports clients.
