The impact of change and its implications for the travel and travel insurance industry will be the focus of the third annual US Travel Insurance Association Conference to be held February 25 – 27 at the Rancho Bernardo Inn, San Diego.

The conference, titled, Paradigms for the Brave New World: Embracing Change That is Reshaping Our World, Our Business and Our Lives, will feature leading experts in the fields of travel and travel-related technology.

Rapid changes in technology and social trends are influencing the way people travel, how they buy travel, and the business of travel, says UstiA president Jon Ansell. The conference will examine the implications of these changes, the challenges they pose for the travel and travel insurance industry, and how we can adapt.

The market impact of consumer preferences, Global Distribution Systems, dynamic packaging, and the internet will be examined by speakers representing the technology, travel agency and consumer segments of the market. Featured speakers include Kathy Sudeikis, President, American Society of Travel Agents; Pauline Frommer, author and travel commentator; and Ellen Lee, Vice President, Business Development, G2 Switchworks.
