AH&LA appoints Sabre Hospitality Solutions Executive to its Board of Directors

In addition to Alt’s board appointment, Sabre Hospitality Solutions will also become the exclusive Executive Partner of AH&LA in hospitality reservations and property operations technology, an area of critically increasing importance to the lodging industry.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) announced the appointment of Sabre Hospitality Solutions President Alex Alt to its 2017 Board of Directors. Alt proudly accepted the appointment to AHLA’s Board, which represents leaders from all sectors of the lodging industry, including brands, owners and REITS, management companies, independents, and state associations. As a member of the board meeting three times each year, Alt will be a part of important discussions concerning a broad range of industry- and association-related issues.

“We continue to reach new heights in our membership, advocacy, and communication efforts and, together, with the leadership of our Board and our Officers, we are making significant progress in advancing our industry priorities,” said Katherine Lugar, president and CEO of AHLA. “As a new addition to AHLA’s Board of Directors, we are confident that the strong leadership of Alex Alt will further strengthen our industry’s alignment and strategic direction as we build upon the successes to date.” 

In addition to Alt’s board appointment, Sabre Hospitality Solutions will also become the exclusive Executive Partner of AH&LA in hospitality reservations and property operations technology, an area of critically increasing importance to the lodging industry.
