ANTOR welcomes its new Board for 2021/22

The Executive Secretary, Alison Cryer, for the Association of National Tourist Offices (ANTOR) announce the newly appointed ANTOR board.  2021/22 is a milestone for ANTOR as it celebrates its 70th anniversary and the new board will be reviewing membership benefits and building on 70 years of successful partnerships for future growth.

Tracey Poggio will continue in her role as Chairman. Tracey has worked in the travel industry for over 15 years, from tour operator to PR, and as a Gibraltarian, Tracey has worked extensively throughout her career with  the  Gibraltar  Tourist  Board  and  currently heads  up  its  UK  marketing team. “As I enter my 15th year as Chairman I am delighted to welcome new faces to the board who will be invaluable in shaping the future of the association” commented Poggio. “The Secretariat, headed up by Alison Cryer, throughout the pandemic has maintained close contact with all members and provided exceptional COVID information, market updates, and relevant events and generated press coverage on which to build the future of ANTOR” Poggio added.

Nadine Rankin will continue in her role as Treasurer. Nadine is the UK representative of Tobago and Nassau Paradise Island.

The two new Vice-Chairmen are: Anthony Stuart, Vice-Chairman membership, Director for Europe, India and The Middle East at The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism in The Bahamas, and Charles Wilson, Vice-Chairman events. Charles Wilson heads up B2B Sales at the German National Tourism Office in London.

This year ANTOR welcomes newly elected Tolene Van Der Were to the board. Tolene is the Director UK & Ireland for the Malta Tourism Authority, and re-elected board members: Caroline Beaton-Moscatelli Sales and Marketing Manager in the UK at Visit Finland, Katarina Hobbs, Director for CzechTourism UK and Ireland, and Gabriel Dorch, Senior Travel Trade Manager UK and Country Manager at Visit Sweden UK.

Ruby James has been co-opted onto the board, from the Korea Tourism Organisation.
