The American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA<.>) has announced it will offer a seminar solely for suppliers at the ASTA 2002 World Travel Congress in Honolulu. The seminar, entitled, Beyond the Trade Show Booth: Building the Agent/Supplier Relationship, presented by Sue Tinnish, will focus on forming effective and lasting relationships with travel agents.

ASTA believes it`s important for travel agents and suppliers to build strong relationships. Both travel agents and suppliers will benefit from having closer ties, and so, too, will consumers, said ASTA 2002 World Congress Chair-Hawaii Susan Tanzman. We`re excited to be able to offer suppliers this unique opportunity, and hope they will take advantage of this great seminar.

This seminar will help suppliers to get the most out of trade shows by teaching them how to enhance and maintain valuable connections with travel agents. Suppliers will learn ways to increase their effectiveness at trade shows and what important steps they should take before they get the booth, after they leave and when they are not on the trade show floor. It will be held on Sunday, November 3 at 8:30 a.m. and at 1:45 p.m.

After more than 20 years in business, Sue Tinnish has garnered a great deal of trade show experience. She is the owner of SEAL Inc., and uses her business background to teach professionals how to improve personal interaction, which is an integral part of meetings and events like trade shows.

To attend this seminar, suppliers must be registered for the full program of the ASTA 2002 World Travel Congress.
