Domodedovo Airport organized an international aviation online conference

The conference was held in a remote format, with the participation of ICAO and IATA.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport held an International aviation conference "Passenger Service Quality Management in a Pandemic". The representatives of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) took part in the event.

The conference was held in a remote format. The experts exchanged their experience in passenger service in the conditions of COVID-19 on the Russian market and in the EU countries and discussed issues of personnel training in the aviation industry during the crisis.

The year 2020 turned out to be one of the most difficult for aviation. In his speech, the Director of International Communications of Moscow Domodedovo Airport, Daniel Burkard, told his colleagues in detail how the airport coped with the pandemic.

According to him, "Domodedovo was the first airport in Russia to organize testing points for coronavirus infection, vaccination for employees and passengers. In addition, the company has developed and implemented a number of new services for airlines, for example, aircraft disinfecting. The doctors of the air hub were among the first to face a new infection, boarding flights from countries with an unfavorable epidemiological situation. Later, they were awarded government awards."

Domodedovo Training, an enterprise of the DME group, is one of the largest training centers in Russia, which trains personnel of aviation industry enterprises. The main advantages are the implementation of IATA and ICAO courses, the selection of individual and flexible training solutions, as well as the possibility of conducting practical exercises in real conditions under the guidance of qualified teachers. More than 400 thousand people study at Domodedovo Training annually.
