GBTA announces impressive speaker line up for European conference

The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA)—the voice of the global business travel industry—has announced speakers for their European conference in Budapest on September 19th-21st.  The conference will focus on aspects of globalisation and customised service delivery as well as an insight into industry affairs and their impact on professional travel management.

Jan Sturesson, Partner and Global Industry Leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) will be a keynote speaker discussing about the relevance of travel and meetings in the context of global giga-trends, new emerging industries, co-opetition, globalisation and technology enabled enterprise. Sturesson is a Swedish national, a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and its Global Agenda Council (GAC).

Jan Sturesson, and featured speaker Max Keegan, a UK based 17 year-old who will present a case study on “Digital Natives,” supported by RADIUS, will then join a GBTA Leadership Panel for a panel discussion about industry specific issues.

Other confirmed speakers for sessions include Aleksander Popovich, SVP Industry Distribution and Financial Services at IATA, Joe Bates, Senior Director of Research at GBTA Foundation, Gillian Gibson, Chief Marketing Officer at Travelport, Caroline Strachan, Global Commercial Leader for AstraZeneca Travel Service, Priska Schmidli, Executive Director of Global Travel Sourcing for UBS and Didier Scaillet, Chief Development Officer at Meetings Professional International (MPI).
