HTNG’s Insight Summits focus on advancing discussions and solutions in current workgroups by providing the opportunity for participants to meet face-to-face.
AUSTIN, TEXAS, USA – Global hospitality association Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), producers of the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC), is partnering with Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG) to co-locate the HTNG Insight Summit Europe with the premier HITEC Amsterdam. Both events will take place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. HTNG’s Insight Summit Europe will be held from March 27-28, 2017, while HFTP’s HITEC Amsterdam will take place March 28-30 at the RAI Convention Centre.

"HFTP is dedicated to advancing finance and technology segments in the hospitality industry, and is thankful for the support from allied associations such as HTNG."
Established in 1972, HFTP’s HITEC has built a global network of leading industry experts, practitioners and vendors that come together each year, in a different city in North America, for the latest hospitality technology showcases, education and discussions. The latest HITEC event, that took place this past June in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, featured over 6,395 hospitality professionals representing 65 countries, welcomed over 106 educational speakers, 342 exhibitors and 867 exhibit booths. HFTP continues to build upon its globally renowned, HITEC with the addition of the premier HITEC Amsterdam and HITEC Dubai next year.
HTNG’s Insight Summits focus on advancing discussions and solutions in current workgroups by providing the opportunity for participants to meet face-to-face. HTNG members can come together to discuss current issues, learn about new industry findings, acquire practical knowledge to carry forward and benefit from networking opportunities. HTNG’s Insight Summits occur twice a year in two distinct regions – Europe and North America. There are 12 present workgroups at HTNG: Personal Area Networks, Internet of Things (IoT), Hotel Systems Dashboard, Lightweight Messaging, Next Generation Messaging, Door Lock Security, Bulk Data Transfer, Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Scalable Cellular Service, Open API, CRM and Cloud Communications.
“HTNG’s Insight Summit Europe and HFTP’s HITEC Amsterdam both provide platforms for industry professionals to network and collaborate,” said HTNG Chief Operating Officer David Sjolander. “Our goal is to produce fewer events with better quality for the industry, and this structure will help accomplish that.”
HFTP and HTNG are both nonprofit associations representing the hospitality industry and professionals worldwide. HFTP’s HITEC conferences and HTNG regional conferences and Insight Summits serve as opportunities for attendees from around the globe to network with peers, learn about the latest industry innovations and develop their business.
As global associations in the hospitality industry, this partnership will benefit both organizations as well as the event attendees by extending resources and education. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss issues facing hospitality technology with some of the industry's top experts, learn about the latest technology products and services as well as build upon connections with partners across the industry.
