The IAEE awarded 21 Helen Brett Scholarships to support education in exhibition and event management, fostering industry growth and professional development.
DALLAS – The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) announces this year’s roster of scholarship and grant recipients from its education assistance programs designed to fund the ongoing journey of experienced exhibition and event professionals, as well as those new to the industry and secondary students interested in joining the industry.
“By investing in ongoing education and skills development, we not only support individual growth, but strengthen the very foundation of our industry,” said IAEE President & CEO Marsha Flanagan, M.Ed., CEM. “We congratulate this year’s exceptional recipients on their dedication to learning and whose excellence will undoubtedly shape the future of exhibitions and events.”
The Helen Brett Scholarship was established by Robert Kolinek, CEM, CMP and named for his grandmother who was a pioneer in the trade show industry. Its purpose is to assist individuals who are exploring the study of exhibitions and events management with the end goal of advancing their career in this field. This year’s application and selection process resulted in 21 scholarships being awarded: 14 to undergraduate students and seven to graduate students.

The Bob Dallmeyer Education Fund supports international exhibition and event industry education and professional development. The fund is designed for event professionals worldwide including young professionals, professionals new to the industry and those that are interested in learning about the global marketplace.

The IAEE DE&I Scholarship was established by IAEE member Rochelle Richardson, CEM, who is passionate about setting children up for success. The purpose of the scholarship is to promote and bring visibility to the exhibitions, meetings and business events industry for graduating high school students of diverse backgrounds and from under-served and economically and socially disadvantaged communities in order to create an equal opportunity for the recipient to achieve a two-year or four-year college-level education program.
