IAEE launches CEM Learning Program in Brazil

The Brazilian trade show organization, IAEE will offer the first CEM courses in Portuguese this summer to the Brazilian exhibitions and events market. Currently, more than 2,000 professionals globally hold the coveted CEM designation.

SAO PAOLO, BRAZIL – At FORUM Events in Sao Paolo, Brazil with approximately 300 individuals in attendance, the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) officially announced it will offer its successful Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) Learning Program in Brazil. In conjunction with UBRAFE, the Brazilian trade show organization, IAEE will offer the first CEM courses in Portuguese this summer to the Brazilian exhibitions and events market. Currently, more than 2,000 professionals globally hold the coveted CEM designation.

“The exhibitions and events industry throughout Brazil is thriving. Industry professionals will attain the same knowledge base and skillset provided by the global certification,” says IAEE Chairperson Skip Cox. “To ensure that we exceed the learning objectives of participants, the CEM program has been customized to account for cultural differences and different business practices in Brazil.”

The Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) designation was created in 1975 to provide a professional designation for individuals in the exhibition industry. The designation was formed to raise professional standards and is recognized throughout the industry as the premier mark of professional achievement. The CEM Learning Program is a global designation offered in the United States, Canada, China, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, Singapore, Spain and Taiwan.
