This year the association presented a special award – IITA Leadership Award – to Chairman Jonathan Zuk of Amadeo Travel Solutions for his outstanding leadership, vision and perseverance during his four years as Chairman of the organization.
The International Inbound Travel Association (formerly Receptive Services Association of America) is proud to recognize excellence in the international inbound community through the annual Stanley Awards, named in honor of Stanley Fisher, founder of Allied Tours and recognized as a founder of the U.S. inbound receptive industry. Stanley Fisher’s contribution to the creation of the U.S. Receptive industry cannot be overstated. He was a leading voice for receptive tour operators in the United States.
This year the association presented a special award – IITA Leadership Award – to Chairman Jonathan Zuk of Amadeo Travel Solutions for his outstanding leadership, vision and perseverance during his four years as Chairman of the organization. Zuk led the organization through a period of change and transition to position it as a strong voice and leader in the international inbound travel industry, culminating in the recent launch of their new brand International Inbound Travel Association.
The Stanley Awards are given annually to leading organizations that promote excellence and professionalism in the international inbound industry. The nominations and recipients come from IITA receptive tour operators in recognition of their supplier and destination partners. This year’s recipients are:
- Excellence in Sales and Marketing – Hotel Category – Starwood Hotels and Resorts
- Excellence in Sales and Marketing – Non-Hotel Category – Accent on Dining
- Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Operations – Hotel Category – Hotel Beacon
- Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Operations in the Non-Hotel category – Papillon Helicopters
- Chairman’s Award for Cooperating with RSAA Receptive Tour Operators – Hotel Category – Hilton Worldwide
- Chairman’s Award for Cooperating with RSAA Receptive Tour Operators – Non-Hotel Category – Accent on Dining
- The Stanley Fisher – Outstanding Travel Professional of the Year Award recognizes an individual for his or her outstanding contributions and dedication to the association and the inbound industry over the past year. This is the only honor awarded to an individual.
- Stanley Fisher – Outstanding Travel Professional of the Year – Rafael Villanueva, Senior Director of International Sales with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
IITA extends their congratulations to each award recipient and looks forward seeing their continued success in the industry.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
