Maria Tuttocuore named to the 2018-19 Board of IGLTA

Joins four additional executives to prestigious board.

NEW YORK CITY – The International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) has announced the appointment of Maria Tuttocuore, Senior Executive Sales & Marketing for the Monaco Government Tourist Office (MGTO) to their 2018-2019 Board of Directors. She joins four other executives to this organization that includes LGBTQ and ally business leaders representing tourism social media/marketing, corporate accommodations, destination promotion and boutique hotels. The new board takes effect during the board meeting prior to IGLTA’s 35th Annual Global Convention in Toronto, Canada, May 9-12.

“It is an honor to be working with such a group of great professionals at the ILGTA Board of Directors,” said Tuttocuore. “I am looking forward to the sharing of ideas and programs with my colleagues throughout the tourism industry to help promote LGBTQ travel worldwide."

Tuttocuore is a well-respected luxury tourism leader with an extensive background in the travel industry. She currently conceives, plans and implements marketing efforts to the leisure sales community, working with agencies, suppliers and business partners to raise awareness of Monaco’s diverse offerings to North American travelers. In addition to her sales and marketing responsibilities, Maria’s strong digital background and analytical skills have played a significant role in developing the online presence of the Principality of Monaco. She collaborated with Leading Hotels of the World, the New York State Department of Tourism, New York University and PhoCusWright.

The new IGLTA board members are: Apoorva Gandhi, Vice President, Multicultural Affairs, Marriott International; Oriol Pamies, Co-Founder, Moovz – The Global LGBT Social Network; Sandi Robinson, Director of Sales, The Godfrey Hotel Chicago; Maria Tuttocuore, Senior Executive Sales & Marketing, Monaco Government Tourist Office.
