MoU for cooperation between EHMA and Alpine Center

Panos Almyrantis, National Delegate for Greece & Cyprus and  Vice President of the European Hotel Managers Association (EHMA) and Sybil Hofmann, Alpine Center President of International Programs.

Alpine Center, the Swiss Business School for Hotel & Tourism Management, was established in Greece in 1987 and has attracted students from over 70 countries in the last 32 years.

The National Delegate for Greece & Cyprus and Vice  President Europe of the European Hotel Managers Association (EHMA), in an effort to support training on specialized skills, professional attitude, up-to-date knowledge and practical experience has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation with Alpine Center, the Swiss Business School for Hospitality & Tourism Management.

In a recent meeting, Mr. Panos Almyrantis, National Delegate for Greece & Cyprus and  Vice President of the European Hotel Managers Association (EHMA) and Mrs. Sybil Hofmann, Alpine Center President of International Programs, agreed to develop academic programs, joint research activities, presentations on student training and capacity building, special student awards for excellence and information exchange on teaching and research.

Mr. Panos Almyrantis pointed out that the aim of EHMA members is to provide comprehensive support to students in the hotel sector and Greek academic institutions. Moreover, he stressed the high level of Alpine Center’s educational programs which offer its graduates the opportunity to lead brilliant careers in the ever-growing hotel industry.  

ΕΗΜΑ is a non-profit organization which was established in Rome in 1974. Its aim is to foster solidarity and fellowship in an effort to promote specialized skills development of hotel industry professionals through training. EHMA currently has 421 members in 25 countries, all of them General Managers of renowned hotels.  

Alpine Center, the Swiss Business School for Hotel & Tourism Management, was established in Greece in 1987 and has attracted students from over 70 countries in the last 32 years. Since 2012, all Alpine Center educational programs in Greece are offered at City Unity Education Group.
