NACTA offers errors and omissions insurance as a member benefit

NACTA raised the membership criteria bar earlier this year by requiring its members to carry E&O insurance either as their own coverage or through their host agency.

ALEXANDRIA, VA. – The National Association of Career Travel Agents (NACTA) has entered into an expanded partnership with Travel Insured International (TTI). TII is one of the leading travel insurance providers, offering the highest quality worldwide travel insurance protection.

“The National Association of Career Travel Agents aims to become a global organization bringing more professionalism, credibility and public recognition to the rapidly-growing independent travel agent sector” said NACTA’s President, Ann van Leeuwen. “It’s through partnerships with leading travel companies like Travel Insured that our members continue to value their membership in NACTA” she said.

NACTA raised the membership criteria bar earlier this year by requiring its members to carry E&O insurance either as their own coverage or through their host agency. The new expanded partnership with Travel Insured gives NACTA members the opportunity to carry E&O insurance at significant savings whether through their host agency relationship or for those agents who want to remain fully independent sellers of travel.

As NACTA’s partner in Travel Insurance protection, Travel Insured International (TII) recognized the need for a better, more efficient E&O insurance offering. TII has teamed up with one of the leading and most respected insurers for E&O protection – Liberty Mutual Group and Managed Insurance Services to bring NACTA members a very compelling offer.

Highlights include:

  • A rated (excellent) rated Insurer – Liberty Surplus Insurance Company
  • Most comprehensive E&O coverage available
  • Simple point and click on-line sale program with straight through underwriting & approval
  • Interest free payment programs
  • 25% discount for NATCA members.

TTI was a former division of the Travelers up until 1994, and originator of travel insurance in the US. Located in East Hartford, Connecticut, the company offers an array of travel insurance protection benefits including Emergency Assistance and Evacuation, Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption Protection, Medical Insurance, Baggage Insurance, Airline Ticket Protection among other coverage.

Their customer centric claims operation has significant expertise in both domestic and international claims administration. Travel Insured maintains a network of more than 5,000 travel agents, tour operators, and specialty travel providers as well as provides 24/7 insurance assistance that allows individuals to travel securely.
