National Association of Career Travel Agents was the first organization to host “SNG’s Scooting for Charity” at their 2013 Annual Conference which took place at the Westin Beach Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Sept. 19-21.
ALEXANDRIA, VA – Special Needs Group (SNG) recognized the National Association of Career Travel Agents (NACTA) the 2013 Power Partner Award. The third annual Special Needs at Sea Inner Circle Meeting was held in Fort Lauderdale on November 7th where NACTA’s Vice President of Sales and Industry Relations, Bob Duglin was presented with this award.
Andrew J Garnett, President of Special Needs Group remarked: “Without exception, NACTA has gone far “above and beyond” the spirit of partnership and, in the process, become among the staunchest of allies and advocates for Accessible Travel. We value their commitment, their embracing our mission of “Delivering an Accessible World” and serve as a benchmark by which robust synergy can be measured.” Past recipients include Cruise Planners/American Express and We Make People Happy (WMPH) Vacations.

With the participation of NACTA’s members, the successful event raised funds and donated assisted mobility devices to Camillus House, a South Florida whose goal is the eradication of chronic homelessness.
“I am honored to receive this award on behalf of NACTA and the entire membership” said Bob Duglin, NACTA’s VP of Sales and Industry Relations. “SNG has been a very committed partner with our association over the years and we accept this with pride.”
NACTA and SNG have also teamed up to inform SNG program participants on the value and benefits of NACTA membership. Including various insurance programs such as health insurance, discount prescription savings card, legal care, dental plan, & more.
