Professional travel buyers are to participate in a one-day Buyer-to-Buyer Exchange at the NTA 2007 Annual Convention in Kansas City, Missouri, Nov. 2-6 after an invitation by the National Tour Association.

We`ve created a program to not only connect travel buyers with tour operators for product development, but also so that these travel buyers can develop those personal relationships with tour operators that are so important in our industry, said NTA Chairman and CEO Randy Julian.

Besides the Buyer-to-Buyer Exchange, which is a prescheduled business appointment session, NTA will offer an educational seminar designed for professional travel buyers to learn more about packaged travel and working with tour operators. The day-long program also includes the Friday Holiday Inn Luncheon, the NTA Destination Pavilion, the popular Wine and Cheese Reception, and the Best Western International Tour Operator Dinner.

According to the association, the professional travel buyers will have access to customized product ideas by partnering with NTA tour operators. Additionally, they can get more ideas from the various destinations that NTA brings to the table in the afternoon`s Destination Pavilion.

NTA tour operators encompass the diversity of product in our industry, said Julian. NTA`s tour operator membership includes more than 1,500 individuals representing 600 tour operator companies from around the world, moving more than 6 million travelers each year. They serve everyone from boomers to students and average 22 years of experience in the industry.
