Onsite Property Management Association announces Spring Executive Summit

The "can't miss " executive event committed to pursuing solutions to the lodging industry's greatest challenges and untapped opportunities.

PANAMA CITY BEACH, FLA. – The Onsite Property Management Association (OPMA), which is focused on and advocates on behalf of onsite rental property management and the growing condo hotel sector, announced the official launch of it’s Spring Executive Summit scheduled for May 18-20, 2016 at the Inverness Hotel & Conference Center in Denver, CO.

The May event follows the extremely successful  OPMA Executive Summit held last Fall, which brought key industry speakers and senior level executives from OPMA’s membership base together, providing an open dialogue and free flowing exchange of ideas and solutions between attendees.

According to OPMA President Paul Wohlford, “We are extremely excited to introduce several major, new initiatives at our Executive Summit that will help us further maximize consumer and media awareness of our growing condo hotel lodging sector on both a local and national level. Additionally, these programs will help us in measuring the size of the condo hotel sector, and in presenting the key points of differentiation and the advantages our members have in promoting our accommodation lifestyle versus other alternative lodging segments. These include stand alone condos and vacation homes and traditional hotels.”

OPMA was officially launched only two years ago and the national association currently represents one of the fastest growing organizations within the lodging industry now representing over 50,000 units of onsite rental inventory and $15 Billion in real estate value. One of the factors contributing to OPMA’s rapid growth and success is the organization’s constant focus on and vision for the future and positioning it’s members at the grassroots level as industry leaders…not followers.

Rick Fisher, Executive Director for OPMA notes, “The real strength of OPMA emanates from the collective contributions our onsite manager members bestow on their respective destinations. Beyond servicing rental guests and unit owners, OPMA and it’s members recognize the critical importance of the economic impact contributions they are making both individually and collectively with other OPMA members in the respective markets they serve. We understand that even greater success comes to those onsite managers who can effectively measure and present their communities the positive economic impact of their contributions, such as new jobs created and revenue generated that benefit all community stakeholders and that further grows their local economies.”
