Singapore travel and tourism organisations with the most impactful story can win up to SGD 8,000 cash

PATA Singapore Chapter presents 2nd Industry Productivity Challenge

For the second year running, PATA Singapore Chapter, with the sponsorship of Workforce Development Agency (WDA) is rewarding cash prizes to Travel and Tourism Organisations in Singapore for their most impactful productivity story. Call for entry submissions begin today.

Companies across Singapore’s travel & tourism industry simply need to pitch their best productivity success story through a simple 1,500 word essay.

Back by its inaugural success last year, this year’s competition – entitled Our Productivity Story – features more cash prizes – a total of six worth SGD 36,000. The best two essays from each of the following three travel and tourism categories: (a) Hotels (b) Travel Agents (c) Others, as selected by a panel of judges, will qualify for the next round.

The six finalist companies are then required to work with a dedicated video production company to turn their productivity story into a motivating short video*. All 6 videos will be made available online for voting by the tourism and travel industry as well as the general public. Voting is sheduled to take place from 14 to 30 November 2011.

Winners will be determined based on, 50% votes (popularity) and 50% judges’ evaluation. All 6 finalists stand to walk away with cash prizes. First and second prize winners in each category will walk away with SGD 8,000 and SGD 4,000 cash respectively.

Our Productivity Story 2011 will culminate in a prize presentation ceremony during the Tourism Industry Ball on 3 December 2011 at Shangri-la, Singapore.
