The general assembly held by the Panhellenic Federation for Tourism Enterprises, POET<.> and the Panhellenic Coach Federation, decided to suspend strike mobilizations in the tour bus sector until March 28, 2001. The decision was reached after a lengthy meeting in which the current situation was analyzed after the written assurances sent by the General Secretaries of the Hellenic Tourism Organization and Ministry of Transport and Communication alike. The assurances are expected to resolve significant and aging problems experienced by the sector.
