Ryanair will now accept cards that run on the Discover Global Network, which includes Diners Club International card users from more than 55 countries worldwide, Discover card members in the United States and global alliance partner cards around the world.

Ryanair’s Chief Marketing Officer Kenny Jacobs said: “We are pleased to announce that we now accept Discover Global Network cards providing business and leisure customers with even more ways to book the lowest fares on Ryanair.com.

Over 1.6 million US customers booked with us in the past 12 months on Ryanair’s dedicated American website, which enables flight bookings to be made in dollars and now with the acceptance of Diners Club and Discover cards and the full range of cards in the Discover Global Network, we are making it even easier for our international customers to book their flights.”

Amy Parsons, Senior Vice President of Global Acceptance at Discover said: “We’re always working with our partners to provide our cardholders around the world with unique features and benefits, which includes acceptance to many of the world’s leading travel merchants. We’re excited that our cardholders will now be able to easily use their cards to book low-cost travel with Ryanair.”

Ryanair customers can now book their business or leisure breaks as far out as March 2019, on even lower fares, and enjoy the latest “Always Getting Better” improvements including:

Ryanair & ANPAC sign recognition agreement for Italy
Ryanair has signed a Union Recognition agreement with ANPAC (Italian Airline Pilots Association), who will now be the sole representative body for Ryanair employed Pilots in Italy. This agreement follows extensive negotiations with ANPAC since Ryanair’s December announcement that it was willing to recognise Unions for collective bargaining purposes. Ryanair welcomes the positive and constructive engagement of ANPAC which led to the formal signing of this recognition agreement within 8 weeks of first meeting. This recognition agreement with ANPAC is significant because Italy currently accounts for almost 80 of Ryanair’s 400+ current aircraft fleet and approx. 20% of Ryanair’s pilot body.

Ryanair looks forward to working with ANPAC and its newly elected ANPAC Ryanair Company Council to conclude an early CLA (Collective Labour Agreement) for our directly employed pilots based in Italy.
