Shortlist announced for the BACA Excellence Awards

Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA) has announced the shortlist for its annual charter aviation awards. This is the fifth year the BACA Excellence Awards have been held and their popularity is growing every year, says Dick Gilbert, Chairman, BACA.

The 2010 Awards will be presented at the association’s Autumn Lunch and Awards Ceremony at Guildhall in London on October 26th. The sports presenter and broadcaster John Inverdale will host the event.

The Finalists (in alphabetical order):

Best Passenger Charter Airline:
Jet2.com, Monarch Airlines, Titan Airways

Best Cargo Charter Airline:
Allied Air, Nigeria; Titan Airways, Volga-Dnepr Airlines

Best General Aviation Operator:
GAMA Aviation, London Executive Aviation, Synergy Aviation

Best Airport:
Biggin Hill, East Midlands Airport, Farnborough

Best Handling Agent:
Inflite, Stansted; Signature Flight Support, TAG Aviation

Global Excellence Award:
Arab Wings, Jordan; Tyrolean Jet Services; Sun-Air, Scandinavia
