The National Association of Serbian Travel Agencies (YUTA) has been received to the full membership in the European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Associations (ECTAA).
The National Association of Serbian Travel Agencies (YUTA) declared it has been received to the full membership in the European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Associations (ECTAA) in Brussels. Serbia is the one among the 29 countries, as many this Association has got, that is not a member of the European Union. Pointing out the advantage of this membership, Mr. Aleksandar Senicic, YUTA CEO, says “The membership in the ECTAA, the Association having through its members about 70,000 tour operators, will enable a faster and better access to the funds related to tourism and tourist trends development in the whole Europe and it will also impact the incoming tourism development taking international tourists to Serbia”.
Mr. Senicic also announces forming the IMTA (International Meetings of Tourism Associations) Association, in order to have regional joining and a better regional offer for other markets. The IMTA will be promoted in February, at the forthcoming Belgrade Tourism Fair.
