Seven top family attractions in Southern New England`s Mystic Places region have collaborated to produce the 2002 Passport to Family Fun, which provides affordable, creative and educational family entertainment for visitors to the area. Through December 31, 2002, passport holders enjoy special savings at the Children`s Museum of Southeastern Connecticut, Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, Florence Griswold Museum, Lyman Allyn Art Museum, Millstone Discovery Center, Mystic Art Association and Science Center of Eastern Connecticut.
These participating entities offer hands-on activities for all ages in the areas of art, science and the natural world. Visitors can hike through native woodlands, learn about the history of American Impressionism, bend laser beams, see what sound looks like, visit live birds of prey and view and shop for contemporary artwork created by local and regional artists.
